Poor People Politics
I just happened upon a SWEET, huge, New York City-looking library in Ypsilanti. I went to the desk to get a library card and I was shunned. Because I live too much in the poor part of Ypsi. This is in the “farm land part”. What part of Ypsi ISN’T the poor part? I’m mad. So I’m using the computer anyway with the help of my client’s library card ID # while she applies for jobs.
